This apartment used to be the residence of the evangelical pastor, who took care of the building and the adjoining beautiful church, which is now also used as a holiday home and is already very popular as an event location.

The facility was specially prepared for you. We have furnished it with great attention to detail and all kinds of natural materials, such as wood and metal, for a pleasant atmosphere.

There are 4 large double beds (king-size), 2 French beds, 2 single beds and 2 large sofa beds spread over 6 bedrooms and both living rooms (as can be seen on the floor plan). You will be able to sleep peacefully in the finest hotel bed linen.

The new kitchens have been freshly installed and are already waiting to be cooked with all possible cooking utensils. 2 dishwashers are available. Annoying washing up is a thing of the past.

In the adjoining living and dining room, nothing stands in the way of cozy evenings in front of the 55 inch Smart TV with Netflix or extensive game evenings at the huge dining table. Or sit in the comfortable armchair and take a good book from the bookshelf next door.

Even the fireplace can be fired and then offers cozy warmth.

In the basement apartment there is also a large dining table for cozy get-togethers. The large bathroom has a toilet, a double washbasin, a shower and a spacious bathtub for a hot soothing bath in the cold winter.

Downstairs there is also a bathroom with shower and sink and a guest toilet.

There are also 2 outdoor terraces to soak up the sun and can also be enjoyed extensively in summer with the appropriate patio furniture.

Notes

This was a religious place. I ask you to behave accordingly. The bells hanging outside are also not allowed to be rung.Furthermore, no religious acts and masses may be held.

The development of noise must always be kept low, especially at night. This is a residential area only. The quiet times from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. must be strictly observed. Extraordinary visitor traffic that has not been agreed with me and the city of Kelheim is also prohibited.

Pets are not allowed on the real wood parquet floors of the basement apartment and the sacristy bedroom of the church. The guest is liable for any damage.

Check-in is from 5 p.m., check-out is at 10 a.m. on the day of departure. The check-in and check-out times are designed so that my cleaning staff have enough time to prepare the apartment between stays on the same day. Due to the size of the individual apartments, this takes time.

However, earlier check-in or later check-out are possible subject to availability. Talk to me about it.

Neighbourhood

The significantly larger Catholic St. Pius Church is 200m away from the former St. Luke's Church, where you stay.

In the distance in the direction of Kelheim's old town, the memorial of the Liberation Hall can be clearly seen. The rotunda of the Lukaskirche was specially adapted to the round shape of the Liberation Hall by the architect and was designed in this way.

Furthermore, the Weltenburg monastery with the adjacent Danube Gorge can be reached in 15 minutes by car. Hiking routes start in Kelheim.

The picturesque Altmühltal begins right next to Kelheim with its castles, palaces, mountains and valleys worth seeing, as well as rocks and Roman testimonies and, of course, the Altmühl river that gives it its name.

The Danube is also just around the corner and, with its cycle paths and natural monuments such as the UNESCO World Heritage Site Danube Limes, also creates correspondingly beautiful landscapes.

Last but not least, my home in Regensburg is of course always worth a trip. I'm happy to give you tips.

Transport

You can park anywhere on the street (Kleiberstrasse and Elsterstrasse).

Please be considerate of the residents opposite and their driveways so that they can get in and out easily.

There are also 3 gravel parking spaces next to the courtyard entrance and 2 more in the driveway with good parking. T

he parking lot in front of the church gate is reserved for the guests of the church. Please do not park in front of the garage, this is already in use.

Please check the parking regulations. This is posted in the hallway.
